Biography

Christopher Kanyusik was born in Minnesota, received his BFA in Ceramics from The University of Montana, his Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Sculpture from Brandeis University, his MFA in Ceramic Sculpture from The Rochester Institute of Technology, and an MFA in Sculpture from at the Academy of Art University.

Before arriving at USU Eastern, Christopher taught courses around the Bay Area of California.  He instructed clay sculpture, figure sculpture and mold-making for Walnut Creek Civic Arts Education.  He also was an instructor of ceramics for the City College of San Francisco and Merritt College, and taught courses in sculpture and art history for Laney College.
